Tonium announces Pacemaker music community

Tonium, the Swedish tech company behind Pacemaker, the pocket-sized DJ system, has announced the launch of the Pacemaker music community. Hosted on www.pacemaker.net, the Pacemaker music community allows members to upload and legally share the mixes of their music, created by them using a Pacemaker or the free Pacemaker Editor software. The Pacemaker music community is the next step in the evolution in social networking.

Free stereo tool from Flux

Flux have released a freeware plug in for Mac and Windows that allows a super precise control of the stereo image. Stereo Tool features ultra precise controls of input gain and individual pan for left and right channels. A phase inverter is available for each channel. A global stereo pan and a stereo width settings are also implemented to complete the management of the stereo signal.

Maize Sampler updated to V1.32

Maize Sampler is a full-fledged VST sampler. All you need to do is mapping the samples to the notes, then Maize Sampler will respond to external MIDI messages and play back the mapped samples accordingly. Maize Sampler supports keyswithing, disk-streaming, multi-layering, release-triggering, and choke groups. It can load up 16 channels and each can support 32 polyphonies. It also has volume ADSR, plus the in-built simple Reverb
and EQ effect. One of the main features of Maize Sampler is the ability to “propagate” (VSTi export), so users can share exported VSTi with other people easily.

BIAS launches Peak Pro XT 6

BIAS today launched Peak Pro XT 6, the extended technology edition of the award-winning pro audio editing, batch file processing, mastering, and delivery software for Mac OS X. Peak Pro XT 6 includes all the new features in Peak Pro 6 plus the entire suite of audio mastering, processing and restoration plug-ins from BIAS. Peak Pro XT 6 also includes DDP (Disc Description Protocol) Export, allowing users to create 100% compliant DDP 2.0 file sets complete with CD-TEXT.

KRK launches New Rokit Line of Powered Studio Monitors

KRK Systems, the worlds leading manufacturer of powered recording monitors, launched the second generation of their industry-standard Rokit monitor. The second generation Rokit incorporates several technologies from the company flagship VXT and E8B lines, including radically radiused edges along the front of the cabinet. The new Rokits replace the current Rokit 5″, 6″ and 8″ models.
