Almsot exactly two years ago the guys behind Mixed In Key wanted to create their mashups in 5 minutes or less, but there was no easy way to do it. Then they created the Mashup software. This week they released the next version, 2.0. Mashup 2.0 software helps to beatmatch tracks and save results to new audio files. It’s the ultra-fast audio editor that they always wanted for Windows and Mac.

The people at Propellerhead caught up with producer & DJ ResetRobot to find out more about his creative process and his use of the Reason DAW software. Emerging rejuvenated from the studio in 2009, Reset Robot announced himself with the licensing of no fewer than 6 tracks to the internationally acclaimed Sci+Tec label, under the stewardship of Ali Shirazinia – better known to the world as Dubfire. Further releases followed on Get Physical, Soma, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, and with his feet still firmly planted in the underground, Portsmouth’s own Wolf Trap label.

With the release of the version 7.5 software of the UAD-2 software, Universal Audio has introduced two new additions to the software. First there’s the UA 610 Tube Preamp & EQ Plug-In Collection, this new plug-in collection delivers the first genuine representation of the UA 610 preamp’s revered tube character. Secondly they add the BAX Dangerous EQ collection, which has been developed by Brainworx. This collection is a premium “finishing EQ” that offers world-class sonics, unique frequency curves and features.
