Moog Music celebrates a decade of revolutionary effects boxes. In December 1997, Dr. Bob Moog, legendary instrument pioneer and founder of Moog Music, introduced the world to his first analog effect module. Now, ten years and seven models later, the MoogerFooger is still going strong.
Based on the technical principles of the original Moog modular instruments, the revolutionary MoogerFoogers were designed to bring the benefits of analog synthesis to all performing musicians. The result was instantaneous, as musicians worldwide scrambled to own one or all of these amazing devices. The MoogerFooger line now consists of seven effects boxes.
- The MF-101 Low Pass Filter contains two complete modular functions: a voltage-controlled lowpass filter and an envelope follower. It can be used with any instrument level to line level signal.
- The MF-102 Ring Modulator contains three complete modular functions: a ring modulator, a voltage-controlled carrier oscillator, and voltage-contolled dual-waveform LFO. It can be used to process any instrument-level to line-level signal.
- The MF-103 12-Stage Phaser can be used with any instrument level to line level signal. It contains two compete modular functions: a 6 or 12-stage phaser with resonance control, and wide range LFO with amount control.
- The MF-104Z Analog Delay has controls that allow you to vary the sound in a variety of ways that you can only do with a Moogerfooger, including drive and output levels, delay time, mix, feedback control, switchable internal loop/external loop and loop gain.
- The MF-105 MuRF is the antidote to generic, boring effects. MuRF stands for "Multiple Resonance Filter Array," meaning it has eight filters with levels controlled by eight sliders.
- The MF-105B Bass MuRF is similar to the MF-105, only seven of its eight filters are resonant filters voiced at lower frequencies. With a cutoff frequency of 110 Hz., it adds extra response where bass players need it most.
- The MF-107 FreqBox is different from other effects – the effected sound is not a processed version of your input signal, but the sound of the input signal modulating an internal oscillator. It contains a VCO with continuously variable waveshape along with the capacity to modulate that oscillator.
