Synapse Audio Software introduces a nice little synthesizer to its product line, the EKS-9 Kick Drum Synthesizer. The plugin is dedicated to the synthesis of electronic bass drum sounds reminiscent of vintage hardware, while adding plenty of additional controls to expand the sonic possibilities.
The OS X version is a universal binary and thus functions with Intel-based Macs as well as with older PPC-based machines. As an introductory promotional offer, the EKS-9 can be purchased from the shop page for only $39 during the first month; regular price is $49.
