16i is real virtual analog percussion at its best! Just like with the vintage cult-classic machines, you have full control over your sounds. You can edit them just like you would with a synthesizer. In realtime. Even "remote-controlled" via MIDI-controller. In mere seconds you can create a snare-drum roll whose sound transforms completely from start to finish. Naturally you can store these sound edits directly in your MIDI sequencer along with your song file.
Extended information
You can edit up to seven parameters per instrument. This allows you to adjust the instruments of the EDS 16i in exactly the way they fit best to your music. You can also get started right away with one of the 20 ready-to-use drumsets for Dance, Electro, Classic, Hiphop etc. which come with the EDS 16i.
Each instrument can be assigned to any desired MIDI note. Using the layer function, you can even assign several instruments to the same key. For easy editing, you can also use your mouse to play the sounds of the EDS 16i via its 16 trigger pads.
Separate effects processing of individual sounds? No problem at all with the 16 individual outputs of the EDS 16i. Send the bass drum through a compressor, put some reverb on snare and claps and pass the percussion sounds through delays. The unlimited routing options of the SCOPE Fusion Platform systems make this mere child's play.
EDS16i is the ideal tool if you're looking for freely programmable drum sounds which can really generate some heat!
