"BEHRINGER's new ULTRA-Q PRO PEQ2200 is an extremely musical parametric 5-band equalizer, which we managed to make even better than its predecessor. In addition to its dramatically improved filter concept it sports specially selected components, making it an indispensable tool for creative sound shaping in radio and stage applications as well as in recording and television studios. Ultra-modern manufacturing methods (SMD technology) and a stringent management system (ISO9000) guarantee high standards and outstanding reliability.

Parallel vs. Serial: music, not phase shifting

The state-variable filter concept ensures ultra-musical operation. Each of the five filters allows center frequency, bandwidth and amplitude adjustment. Overlapping frequency bands allow level corrections of up to 30 dB for practically all frequencies. The ULTRA-Q PRO's musicality is primarily due to the parallel configuration of its individual filters, which û contrary to serial configurations û reduces the typical phase shifting effects to an absolute minimum. What you get is music perfection.

Constant-Q: constant quality

BEHRINGER's high-end equalizer PEQ2200 operates on the constant-Q principle, which virtually eliminates the risk of one parameter affecting the others. The precisely defined and reproducible filter settings allow you to achieve exactly the sound you want.
