MixVibes 5 is becoming the de facto dj software: vinyl mode, waveform display, scratch, auto BPM counting, perfect loops, real-time effects, scripts, sampler, compressor, equalizer, advanced support of sound cards, Multi playlists / ID3 V2, external controllers.

With MixVibes, mixing music on your computer has never been so easy, fun, and powerful: up to 16 simultaneous players, equalizer, real-time effects, loops, vinyl mode, skins, and many more.

New functions added or improved in the version 5:
- Mode vinyl: With this new mode, you can play music as if you were using a turntable: Scratch, Vinyl Cueing, Turntable "on/off" add vinyl effects like noise and crackles.

- Scripts: With script you can use many functions of MixVibes at the same time with just one button. Don't wait any longer, use your imagination to create incredible mixes!

- Visualization: You can now change the size of the waveform and zoom to it. Useful to set cue more accuracy.

- Controllable: MixVibes 5 Pro can be controllable with external devices like DM2 or Hercules dj console. Pro EX edition add more professional controllers like DMC1, DAC2, and all MIDI devices.


- Crossfader 3 bands: The crossfader can be used separately for bass, middle and high bands for more accuracy.

- Playlist: You can use the sequencer to manage several playlists to mix automically tracks. MixVibes supports many audio formats like mp3, wma, ogg vorbis.

Technical specifications

# Vinyl mode / CD mode - 2 playback modes can be choosen for each player : vinyl or cd. Vinyl mode allows Turntable "on/off" effects, scratch, and even noise and crackles.

# Real time effects / Scripts - 6 effects (among 16) can be assigned on each mixer channel and changed in real time like echo, flanger, reverb, bypass... The DirectX plug-ins are also managed. Effects can be set with the tempo of the song. Thanks to scripts, effects can be sequenced with the tempo, this new function is a real revolution and allows you to create always more and a more terrific effects.

# Waveform display - See in real time the waveform of the frame and even of the whole music. You will be able to see and edit cue points in the wave display.

# Automatic bpm counting - MixVibes includes a real time automatic bpm counting. You can also do a batch bpm counting on a set of music. The new BPM counting algorithm is very fast and accurate.

# Beat Matching / automatic mixing - With 1 click, MixVibes can match the pitch of 2 songs and synchronize the beats. And thanks to management of multiple playlists, MixVibes can mix automatically several tracks in the playlist.

# Perfect loop - It’s very easy to create loops with the sampler included in MixVibes. Loops are selectable in multiple of bars (0.5 1 2 4 8 16). You can change dynamically the beat number without loosing the loop point.

# Cue Points / Jog - Cues can be set on fly or more precisely with the jog and waveform display. Define up to 10 cue points (called locations) for each media. Then you will able to move instantly on the most important parts of the music.

# Master Tempo / Pitch Shift/ Speed - A new master tempo has been implanted (+-90%). Pitch +-1 octave and speed +- 90% with a 0.01% resolution. The range for each control can be changed from 1% to 100%.

# Sampler - A sampler is now implanted in MixVibes 5 managing up to 32 samples and play it when you want.

# Volume / Equalizer / Compressor - Each player provides a 3 bands equalizer and 3 kill frequencies. The crossfader can be used separately for bass, middle and high bands for more accuracy. There are a 10 to 32 bands main equalizer and a powerful compressor.

# Many audio formats supported - MP3 (Id3 V2), WMA, OGG (tag supported), WAV, CDA (audio cd), MIDI, AU, AIFF.

# Advanced sound card management / short latency - MixVibes supports up to 4 sound cards, and all audio outputs (rear/front, 5.1, 7.1) can be used very easily. In this case, one sound card is enough for both mixing and monitoring.
So you will have a fast start(<3ms) and fast seek (<10ms), latency can drop to 4ms with ASIO and Kernel mode (less than classic DJ hardware)!

# External control - MixVibes is compatible with almost existing external controllers : MixMan DM2, Hercules DJ console, Numark DMC-1, Visiosonic DAC-2, all MIDI controllers. All functions of mixvibes can be assigned to external controller. Many Controllers can be connected to MixVibes at same time.

# Visual plugins - MixVibes supports sonique and winamp visual plugins. It is possible to display it in a other screen (TV, video projector).

# Sequencer - MixVibes can record all mixer control moves in a file and edit with accuracy all events. The mix can be also exported in wav or mp3 file and even in a mixed audio CD image (cue-sheet).

# Customizable interface - All windows can be resizable, moveable, showed or hidden. With the skins, you can fully customize your work environment.
