Digital audio has changed the face of music making forever and arguably for the better. But with every advance comes some regression. Specifically, mixing in the computer environment using a mouse and keyboard is both tedious and time consuming - only one operation at a time, multiple keyboard shortcuts to learn and remember.
The Logic Control XT from Emagic provides for the users of the Logic Control Main Unit the ability to add as many "eight fader expansion units" as their system will allow. The eight faders are Penny and Giles true touch-sensitive motorized faders, with 10-bit resolution. Eight V-Pots, endless rotary knobs with position indicators, provide control over multiple functions, such as pan, eq, send levels, and both faders and V-Pots can be "flipped" for even greater control (function is initiated on the main unit, and all XTs follow.)
