"When conducting the research for the Emagic Compressor, we granted ourselves a lot of time - especially for a very careful analysis of the adjustment characteristics of leading analog compressors. Their best features have now been incorporated into this Plug-In. Obviously, all relevant parameters are available to the user, like a Peak/RMS switch and an adjustment of soft and hard knee behavior in ten steps. The practical autogain function ensures that a normalized input signal results in a normalized output signal - no matter what the threshold and ratio settings are. In the simplified ""Silver Compressor"" (threshold, ratio, attack, release), the autogain function is always active.
