The SR-JV80-10 features bass and drum samples from five of the world's most respected session musicians: Marcus Miller, Abraham Laboriel, John Patitucci, Abraham Laboriel Jr. and Bob Wilson. 204 velocity sensitive bass and drum patches deliver incredibly dynamic tonal control by utilizing up to 4 tones accessed through velocity switch points. Now those famous sounds are finally in your hands.
Capturing the nuances of bass guitar.
Every SR-JV80-10 electric and acoustic bass sound superbly captures intricate playing techniques from slapping, fingering and picking to mutes, and half-mutes. Acoustic and electric bass sounds even contain string, fret and finger noise for a more authentic ""live"" feel. Many extra bass effects such as slides and harmonics are provided to achieve highly expressive phrasing.

From brush strokes to crashes.
The SR-JV80-10 boasts a variety of one-shot drum waveforms. A pair of waveforms - featuring both hard and soft dynamics - are provided for snare, hi-hat and tom sounds. Smooth switching between the two waveforms via velocity-based triggering results in unbelievably natural sounds. 8 ready-to-use rhythm sets include intricate drum phrasings such as flams, rolls, and rim-shots, all effortlessly accessed from the keyboard. 10 acoustic drum phrase loops provide instant grooves for live performance and inspired composition, and are easily sync'd using the XP-80's Tempo Sync function.
