"With the EURORACK MX3242X, BEHRINGER has designed a full-featured console that leaves nothing to be desired. It offers all the functions of a large desk, yet is extremely transparent and easy to operate. With only 12 units, it fits in standard racks and is equally at home on the road, in permanent installations or in project studios.

Fully fitted inputs û fully inline

You can select between line and microphone inputs without pressing a button. Phantom power in the master section allows you to use your beloved condenser microphones with the MX3242X. Inserts are obligatory; the post-fader direct outs are perfect for location recording. The FLIP button routes the tape return path to the main channel strip for mixdown or vice versa.

Featuring the MX9000's famous EQ

We've made no compromises with the 4-band equalizer. The MX3242X sports two semi-parametric and two shelving filters. The EQ IN button allows quick A/B comparisons. A switchable low-cut filter suppresses low-frequency disturbances.

Aux paths: limitless routing

The aux section features six aux paths. All sends can be accessed from the main channel strip and the tape return path. Aux 1 & 2 are pre/post switchable; 3 to 6 are permanently post-fader. Four stereo aux returns, each of which can be assigned to the subgroups or the main mix, allow easy connection of external effect units. Aux returns 3 & 4 can be routed to aux sends 1 & 2, so that you can add effects to a monitor mix.

You want high-end effects? No problem!

The integrated effect module with its exceptional 24-bit A/D and D/A converters, 24-bit DSP and VIRTUALIZER algorithms gives you first-class effects. Accessed via aux send 3, it includes 32 standard effects (reverb, chorus, flanger, delay etc.). Its excellent quality makes the effect module perfect for mixes, live applications or monitor mixes. Of course, you can also use aux send 3 and a stereo return for outboard gear if you like.

Professional flexibility that you need

The MX3242X has four subgroups for effective multi-track recorders operation. And the direct outs are there if you need to record more than four tracks simultaneously. In spite of its compact dimensions, the MX3242X features the same professional 100-mm faders as the MX9000, giving you smooth, accurate level control.

Meter bridge included

The MX3242X sports precise 8-segment level displays for each channel, subgroup and the main mix. A feature you won't normally find in consoles of this class.

A masterful master section

The MX3242X allows you to monitor the main mix, mix B and a 2-track machine. All six aux sends, the four aux returns, the subgroups and mix B sport SOLO buttons. The phones jack can additionally be fed with aux paths 1 & 2. The talkback section with its integrated microphone guarantees perfect communication between you and the artists. Last but not least, the MX3242X features an expander port, enabling you to link several consoles to fulfill your growing demands. We give you freedom of choice.

Rotating Panel

The MX3242X's tiltable patch bay adds to its flexibility, making desk or rack mounting equally easy. And you don't have to decide ahead of time how you'll use it: we include attractive side panels as well as a complete rack-mounting kit at no extra charge. We promised you freedom of choice.
