Interactive 2-Channel Single-Ended Noise Reduction System

Extended information

"The sound of silence
The MULTIBAND DENOISER SNR2000 is the best noise reduction system that BEHRINGER ever built. After more than ten years of experience and research we can rightly claim to be experts at single-ended noise reduction systems. Renowned specialty magazines have supported this claim in their own words, having tested the DENOISER SNR2000 and calling it ""one of the best systems available,"" and ""extremely effective.""
So what do you get out of it? Let's assume that you û like most of us û need the perfect tool to clean up your tape tracks or instrument outputs and get the upper hand on noisy outboard gear, or maybe to improve the clarity of film soundtracks. Well, here it is.

The intelligent IRC noise gate: your gateway to peace and quiet

We've incorporated our version of the renowned IRC (Interactive Ratio Control) expander/gate circuitry into the SNR2000. Noise is simply filtered out during signal pauses. Inaudibly. Listen for yourself. We bet you won't hear a thing.

Multiband technology: the technology

You want maximum noise reduction and minimal signal deterioration. But how is a system supposed to discern what's noise and what not? The answer lies in the division of the audio spectrum into several frequency bands. This way the intelligent audio detectors can measure the energy content per frequency band and discern between desired signal and noise.

""Transient Attack"" attacks noise

BEHRINGER's TAC (Transient Attack Control) filter circuitry ensures the fastest control times possible without inter-modulation distortion or pumping. The TAC circuitry is based on ultra-precise peak detectors, which constantly monitor your program material. Your guarantee for noticeably improved audio transparency.
