The result is the best preamplifier that BEHRINGER has ever produced. Not only did we choose the highest quality components available; in the input section circuitry we've bordered on breaking the laws of physics. With impressive results: absolutely pure audio quality and unbelievable detail resolution. Input gain is adjustable from +10 to +60 dB. Phantom power is switchable per channel, with a "soft mute" function to ensure noise-free switching.



Flexible signal processing

A switchable high pass filter (12 dB/octave), adjustable from 12 to 350 Hz, provides effective suppression of low-frequency disturbances. Phase inversion is particularly important when using several microphones, enabling you to eliminate phase cancellation problems, and is essential for decoding M/S setups. Each channel features gain adjustment from -20 to +20 dB: more than enough to convert a semi-professional -10 dBV signal to the professional +4 dBu level û or vice versa, or to raise maximum overall system amplification to 80 dB. The TUBE ULTRAGAIN features servo-balanced inputs and outputs with XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors and incorporates û like all of our VINTAGER line products û our ULTRATUBE circuitry, which allows you to add tube-like warmth to the signal without additional noise.
