The surround processor allows dramatic improvement of the stereo image, adding liveliness, depth and transparence to your music. The result is a remarkably open, detailed sound.



Enhancer and exciter: mix 'em up

BEHRINGER's "natural sonic" high-frequency processor offers three controls per channel. "Tune" controls the high pass filter's cutoff frequency, defining the part of the audio spectrum to be processed. "High Mix" defines the degree of processing. The "Process" control allows you to precisely mix the balance between enhancer and exciter effects. Exciter and enhancer both process high-frequencies, invariably increasing system noise. WeÆve dealt with this problem by integrating an automatic noise reduction system, which removes virtually all noise made prominent by the exciter/enhancer principle.

Create massive low-end power

The TUBE ULTRAFEX's bass processor improves the phase coherence in the lower frequencies, allowing you to flexibly adjust the processing intensity. A special LC coil/cap filter enhances the authentic vintage sound. And, like all units in our VINTAGER line, the TUBE ULTRAFEX sports balanced inputs and outputs with XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors and a hard bypass function, which automatically routes the input signal to the outputs in the case of power failure.
The TUBE ULTRAFEX incorporates our newly developed ULTRATUBE circuitry, which lends warmth and transparency to the signal without adding noise.
