Extended information
Mona can be used with a proprietary PCI bus master card or CardBus card for LapTops!! When we designed Mona, we took everything we had learned from making Layla«, Gina«, and Darla« to create a single piece of gear that could be the basis for an entire digital studio. It had to be affordable enough for someone buying their very first piece of recording gear, yet have the quality to be used in the most sophisticated professional studio. It needed 24-bit, 96 kHz converters and six outputs to master the latest DVD audio discs as well as the older CD format. It had to allow the direct connection of microphones and guitars. And, in order to become the workhorse of the project studio, it needed be able to interface with other digital equipment.
