Extended information
The most powerful and flexible universal MIDI device editor on the market.
SoundDiver 3.0. includes editors and librarians for over 500 MIDI devices!
Once launched, SoundDiver automatically scans and identifies your devices and displays them (including all their parameters) onscreen.
The attractive new 3-D look and clearly laid out interface makes editing complex MIDI systems fun again.
Each MIDI device is easily identified with a detailed icon that looks just like the original unit. SoundDiver offers freely definable key commands which can be configured to suit any working style. You can even view SoundDiver's menus in English and German.
The graphic editors allow you to edit every aspect of your setup with just a few mouse clicks. You can freely organize and catalog your patches in searchable libraries and define shortcut keys to speed up your work.
SoundDiver is the perfect complement to the Logic Audio series, integrating seamlessly with the Environment via Autolink. This facility creates an invisible communication link between these programs, allowing fast and direct access to all of your attached MIDI device's parameters while creating new music in the sequencer. All changes can be streamed and recorded directly into Logic Audio for instant recall.
SoundDiver 3.0 features an outstanding new facility called Controller Assignments. This allows the use of a single MIDI Controller unit, such as the Radikal Technologies SAC-2k or the CM Automation Motor Mix, as a universal control surface for every device in your MIDI system.
Any parameter in any device can be assigned to be remote-controlled by almost any MIDI message, making the dream of using a single control surface for your entire MIDI studio a reality. The flexibility and speed afforded by Controller Assignments makes the editing of synthesizers and other MIDI devices a breeze in SoundDiver.
