Based on the same CD Recorder part as the CDR631, but includes a CD player that can act as a source for the CD recorder or as a separate CD Player. It is very easy to duplicate your source CD at double speed, while keeping the text information from your source and assign the desired SCMS copy protection scheme to disk recorded.

With the unique AutomasterÖ feature you are able to create a Disk At Once copy from any normal CDR disk that has been recorded track by track. The Disk At Once disk created by the CDR500 can be used directly for Red Book glassmastering and duplication, without the need for expensive manual premastering in the CD pressing plant.
Using a CDR500 with AutomasterÖ to do this premaster job, extra processing steps (like ExabyteÖ tape or Harddisk Editing) can be eliminated resulting in significant time & cost reductions in the premastering process.
