The CDR631 is the successor of the famous CDR630, the affordable standalone CDR solution for every audio professional. It takes over that position with a new generation engine offering smarter features and a higher writing performance.

A DSP with RAM buffer takes care of frame accurate Track Incrementing (PQ Coding) and makes instant recording starts from all sources possible. You do not need start IDÆs anymore to do an automated start. The DSP with buffer controls the start timing of the recorded tracks accurately, without clipping them at the front. Many other new features can be found in the new recorder such as CD Text recording, auto finalising, AES/EBU and balanced inputs etc.
The CDR631 design is new and matches the design of the new Marantz professional CD players. Its professional look and feel will give you immediate confidence to be a productive studio tool for both CD recording and CD Playback.
