The OB-12 immediately grabs your attention with its bold lookùa bright blue chassis with white lettering and gray wood sides. The OB-12 is intentionally laid out much like the old analog synths of yesteryear. Analog fans will immediately understand the layout of all of the knobs, sliders and buttons, plus goodies like aftertouch, ribbon controller, pitch bend and modulation wheel.

One important departure from old-school analog is the OB-12's graphic interface. The LCD is 240 x 64 pixels. The screen actually draws out all of the parameters you are changing. This means that you can see what you are changing on an envelope or the curve of the EQ. Onboard graphic & parametric EQ, motion & phrase recorders, and tons of morphing possibilities await the user. The motion recorder can record knob and fader movements to free up your hands later for playing on difficult numbers.
