Awesome Sound Modelling
The power of the A-Station’s three oscillators has to be heard to be believed. All three provide the classic waveforms, including a sine wave for those sub-bass floor-shaking grooves plus all feature waveform ‘doubling’ with no loss of polyphony. Metallic and percussive timbres are taken care of via FM technology, there’s a mean and dirty noise source and for even more sound making options an external audio can be used as an oscillator source waveform or processed through the mixer, filter and envelope sections.
The filters are no less impressive.
State of the art design, these genuine Novation Warm Liquid Filters deliver the rich, warm sound of an analog filter. Selectable low-pass, 12dB or 24dB cut-off curves with resonance and overdrive make it easy to recreate anything from a distorted TB303® to a tightly rounded bass patch.

Performance Enhancing
The A-Station features a quite astonishing effects section. Screaming distortion, sensitive reverb and a stereo chorus with incredible depth are just the highlights. There’s more and you'll love it.
Then there’s the arpeggiator. Let’s just say that when combined with the two LFO‘s you can create complex audio motion effects to die for. Sync them to MIDI or to signals generated from an external audio source.
Cool. And we haven't yet mentioned the vocoder, a 12 band affair for those robot and talky effects.
