Live is where you bring all audio together as music. Combining recordings, samples, loops, tracks or even complete songs is a matter of drag-and-drop. Preview your audio files via the built-in browsers in sync with the project and drop them in. Live's Time-Warping Engine stretches all audio in real-time to match the chosen tempo with complete flexibility and fidelity.


In a Live project, the audio remains elastic. You can change tempo or pitch at any point in the process. Moreover, Live provides you with access to the flow of time inside the audio: You can easily correct timing problems, align tracks for remixes, or completely change the groove of a loop. Use an unlimited number of mono and stereo WAV, AIFF and SDII files of any pitch, original tempo, sample rate, bit depth, or length without having to convert them for your project.
