Studio Electronics SE-1x

Large images ..
Seen where the sound of success was heard, the SE-1 recreated the power of the classic Moog tone and far more. The distinctive Oberheim filter and numerous additional features helped to make this Hiphop and R&B legend the serious professional's source for the boominest basses and smoothest, wormiest leads on the planet. The SE-1X continues in this tradition, remaining true to its roots, while stepping up its functionality and form; wide open to future expansion and exploration via its Flash-ROM operating system - not to mention the indefatigable creativity of our supernal sound designers!
Extended information
Three voltage controlled discrete analog oscillators
Waveforms: triangle, sawtooth and variable width square. All waveforms output simultaneously. Syncing of Osc 2&3 to Osc 1.
Two voltage controlled discrete analog filters
24db (classic Moog), 12 db (classic Oberheim). 12db filter has incorporates low pass and band pass modes.
Three low frequency oscillators
Waveforms: triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, square, noise, random. Two destinations and amounts for each LFO with delay, key trigger, phase, and midi sync.
Four multiple stage envelope generators
Attack, decay, sustain and release with inverting and multiple triggering. Envelope 1 fixed to filter frequency. Envelope 2 fixed to amplifier level. Envelope 3&4 are assignable.
Additional Features
Noise generator. Auto triggering external input processor. (future 4th quarter 2003 rev.) Parameters: input level, trigger level, mix level, window. Glide and auto glide, linear or exponential. (future 4th quarter 2003 rev.) Ring modulation.
Modulation Destinations
LFOs 1,2&3: VCOs 1,2&3 frequency, VCOs 2&3 mix level, ring mod mix level, noise mix level, VCF resonance and frequency, 1,2&3 pulse width and volume.
Envelopes 3&4: 1,2&3 pulse width dynamics, VCOs 2&3 mix and oscillator sweep dynamics, ring mod dynamics, noise dynamics, resonance dynamics.
MIDI Controllers
Dynamics, modwheel, pressure, and breath control, each with 2 destinations and amounts, including all LFO and envelope 3 destinations, e.g., VCOs 2&3 oscillator sweep dynamics (future 4th quarter 2003 rev.). Bender: pitch and filter frequency. Fixed continuous controller assignments for all key front panel controls. Additionally receives: program change, bank select, glide on/off, glide time, and
