BATTERY Re-born - The latest version offers an even more intuitive user-interface with a larger, customizable matrix. Every sample-cell is armed with a powerful compressor and multi-mode filter, an LFO, freely assignable envelope, mapping editor managing 128 sample-layers per cell, re-sampling effect and an extended Loop section. BATTERY 2 also offers a first-class sample library containing 3.5 GB worth of drum and percussion samples as well as compatibilty to many sample formats plus a simplified file management.

The cell matrix is as fast as it is easy to use. Simply load your various sounds into the 72 sample cells and create whole new drum kits in a matter of seconds. Customizable Matrix - Customize the cell matrix. A total of 72 possible sample-cells: up to 6 rows with between 9 and 12 cells per row ensure your drum kit is presented in the most economic and practical manner.
Graphical Mapping Editor

The graphical mapping editor enables the easy configuration of up to 128 sample layers per cell for even greater versatility. Merge different sections of sounds together to form new samples. Individually trigger different samples layered within the same cell for a deeper creative expression.

Filter / Equalizer - A dedicated filter / equalizer per cell offering 15 individual types of filter plus presets optimised for drums ensure your percussive elements sound just right.

Compressor - Each individual cell has its own compressor allowing for exact manipulaton of the dynamic range so that each hit packs just the right punch. Or use the built-in compressor presets for high-quality result sright from the start.

Modulation - Modulate up to 8 parameters per cell with a wide range of modulations sources and targets. Use each cell’s integrated freely assignable LFO, envelope and other sources to give your rhythm section a life of its own.

Loop section - Customise your samples. The Loop section offers 4 loops per sample including tuning, crossfade and alternating loop functions, letting you edit ingenious sounds. A process made easy by the Loop Point visualization and Loop Preview features.

The new Sample Library - Included in BATTERY 2 is a huge 3.5 GB library with some 9400 professional drum and percussion samples. All samples were produced using first class, professional equipment and are of the highest quality. The samples are pre-arranged into drum kits and make use of multi-layering techniques, to meet the most rigorous of demands. Everything needed to keep your productions sounding fresh: natural drums and percussion, electronic hits, a selection of specials as well as an optimized version of the popular BATTERY 1 library.

Multiformat Import - BATTERY 2 is compatible to many more sample formats and as such can import virtually all sample libraries.
