The MiniMain™12 is a unique combination of high linearity and power in a compact monitor. Think of it as a "nearfield on steroids". The high frequency drive units are each coupled to tapered waveguide rear chambers to minimize cavity resonances. The massively braced, highly damped sealed chambers yield mercilessly uncolored sound. The MiniMain™12 is not for those who need to hide their work! Extremely low distortion and low Q impulse response provide long hours of fatigue free listening.

Power is also no afterthought with the MiniMain™12. Considering the unquestionable benefits of an active system, why should a monitor compromise on the very components that bring those benefits to life?

From input to output I designed the MiniMain™12 as an integral unit. Linearity in the power module is every bit as important as linearity in the speaker section. To this end, the massive vibration damped rear chassis houses two custom 250W Bryston SST power amplifiers. These amps are driven by an elegant minimalist preamplifier section featuring an ultra-quiet dual stage power supply, Class A circuitry, and stepped attenuators. I have eschewed the use of extraneous adjustment filters in favor of absolutely maximizing the signal integrity from input to acoustic output.
