Urs Heckmann, the man behind U-He, is working on Bazille, the first synth inside the upcoming Berlin Modular System. This synth combines FM-Synthesis, Phase Distortion and subtractive in a rack-like appearance. In the first video Urs is showing the layout and the basic oscillator functions of Bazille. Development is still full on, so a release should not be expected this year. Probably the MusikMesse next year will be a good moment for a release.
Today, Steinberg releases Nuendo 4.3, which is the fourth maintenance update for the audio- and post-production software Nuendo 4. This new version is free and available as a download from their server.
