Native Instruments ready for Snow Leopard

All NI products are compatible with Mac OS X 10.6. Native Instruments has conducted initial compatibility tests with Mac OS X 10.6, which have shown all current NI products to work without any specific issues under standard installations of this operating system. However, users involved in professional audio production or live performance should be cautious about upgrading to Mac OS X 10.6 until compatibility with third-party audio software and hardware has been widely confirmed by the relevant manufacturers.

Sony releases Sound Forge Pro 10

Sony Creative Software announced the availability of Sound Forge™ Pro 10 digital audio production suite. Sound Forge Pro 10 new features include event-based editing, disc-at-once CD burning, iZotope™ 64-bit SRC™ (sample rate conversion), MBIT+™ dither (bit-depth conversion), musical instrument file processing, and the élastique Pro timestretch/pitch shift plug-in. In addition, Sound Forge Pro 10 software provides exclusive new enhancements, including customizable window layouts, metadata editing, performance optimizations, and interactive tutorials.
