Benelux Ableton VIP event in Rotterdam

Media Satellite, Ableton and Rotterdam Pop Academy (a division of Codarts) present an Ableton VIP event in Rotterdam. The event will feature workshops, master classes and showcases of Very Important Projects, and is strictly limited to 150 attendees. Throughout the day, there will be classes and demonstrations of new technologies, focusing on smart ways to use Ableton Live in music production, sound design, live performance, DJing and AV art projects.

Re-release of the Linplug Element P Percussion Synth

Element P is a percussion synthesizer that LinPlug discontinued 6 yeas ago. With its simple FM-alike technology it has a unique sound, is easy to edit and fun to play with. It is now compatible with today’s production environment, so it is fully compatible with all Windows versions from XP on up to Windows 7, both 32 and 64 bit. A Mac version will follow , if there is demand.

iPad release 28th may – Europe is NEXT

Almost two months after it’s official US release, Europe is finally next. iPad™ will be available in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the UK on Friday, May 28. Customers can pre-order all iPad models from Apple’s online store in all nine countries beginning on Monday, May 10. In the US, Apple has already sold over one million iPads and customers have downloaded over 12 million apps from the App Store, as well as over 1.5 million ebooks from the new iBookstore.

Intelligent Drumming with Rayzoon Jamstix 3

Rayzoon released Jamstix 3, its Intelligent Virtual Drummer software. Jamstix 3 improves on its predecessor with a larger interface, more styles and drummers, many new features and enhancements as well as the brand-new “song builder” wizard, which can create a complete multi-part drum arrangement with fills in seconds. Memory usage is reduced with the new load-on-demand sample management and meticulously sampled stock kits offer new levels of realism with automatic snare and tom center/offset hit management. A demo version is available for evaluation.
