Lexicon launches Omega Studio Bundle

Lexicon has launched the Omega® Studio Desktop Recording Bundle. The Omega Studio Bundle is a completely integrated computer recording package that combines Lexicon’s Omega Studio USB recording interface with Steinberg® Cubase® LE 4 multi-track audio and MIDI recording software, the Lexicon Pantheon™ VST reverb plug-in, and an AKG® D 88 S® lead vocal microphone and mic cable. It contains all the necessary hardware and software components to transform a PC or Mac® into a professional 24-bit recording studio and allows the user to start recording immediately.

Limited edition of the Akai MPC: the MPC2500SE

New Akai “Special Edition” MPC2500 released at the recent Music Fair in Japan (very similar to the MPC2500LE “Limited Edition” produced last year by Akai for Guitar Centre in the US, which was a limited run of 500 units), though the display is now blue (rather than green) and the gold, edition badge showing “XXX of 500” is replaced with a silver one which reads “MPC2500 Special Edition”. Other features include the DVD drive option included as standard as is the full 128MB of RAM.
