Steinberg releases eLCC successor to Syncrosoft LCC software
eLicenser Control Center software, an integral part of its eLicenser license management platform. eLCC introduces a new GUI, additional features and an improved workflow, and replaces the former Syncrosoft LCC software. eLCC is the first software component for the eLicenser platform released by Steinberg since its acquisition of the Syncrosoft eLicenser technology in October 2008.
Max for Live – Buffer Shuffler video preview
Buffer Shuffler is a premium audio effect that comes with Max for Live. This audio effect “shuffles” incoming audio by buffering the audio, then replaying it in whatever order you’ve specified. Each channel of the stereo signal can be shuffled with different patterns (unlike Beat Repeat) and there is also a “dice” mode that randomizes the shuffle pattern at each bar crossing. Finally, a smoothing setting limits the amount of clicking at each transition point. Use sensibly to add subtle variations or go full-on to see where it takes you.

Tascam Audio Interfaces ready for Snow Leopard
TASCAM has tested all of their audio interfaces for use with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, Apple’s latest operating system. TASCAM certified the US-122L, US-144, US-1641, FW-1082 and FW-1884 as being fully functional in the OS. The newly-announced US-100, a stereo USB 2.0 interface priced under $100, is also compatible with OSX 10.6.
