The Mellotron is back and ready for delivery

Streetly Electronics has announced initial deliveries of its M4000 cycling tape replay keyboard instrument. The new instrument improves on the classic Mellotron M400 design of the 1970s to offer as standard a total of 24 individual tape sound sets, plus an additional 16 two-sound combinations, with programmable attack, a much lighter keyboard feel, improved playing height, and an air filtration system and positively-pressurized cabinet.

Steinberg releases eLCC successor to Syncrosoft LCC software

eLicenser Control Center software, an integral part of its eLicenser license management platform. eLCC introduces a new GUI, additional features and an improved workflow, and replaces the former Syncrosoft LCC software. eLCC is the first software component for the eLicenser platform released by Steinberg since its acquisition of the Syncrosoft eLicenser technology in October 2008.

Korg announces the unveiling of the new SV-1 Stage Vintage Piano. The SV-1 offers the most complete compendium of hit-making vintage electric pianos, funky clavs, classic and cult-fave organs, string machines, analog/digital electronic contenders and world-class acoustic pianos ever available in a single instrument. New Korg products: microSAMPLER, SV1 and Wavedrum WDX

Today in Tokyo several new KORG products were introduced at the G-Roks studios. First one is a new Korg keyboard called the microSAMPLERX. According to the Japanese text it is intended for live performance, but a pc editor software is included as well. The SV-1 is a 60’s retro-design stage piano. The SV-1 has real weighted hammer action and every sound is top-notch. This stage piano will be available in 73 and 88 keys versions. The Wavedrum WD-X is a re-issue of the original Wavedrum from 1994. The new Wavedrum will have 24bit/48kHz high-quality DSP technology.
