Yesterday we introduced you to the OP-1. A combination between a controller and a synth, at this moment in full development by Teenage Engineering. The video below shows the display development test. According to Teenage Engineering themselves: “This is how the display will look like on the OP. It’s got extremely high PPI, the contrast is crazy, and according to myself, the gfx is bananas!” Watching the video we think they aren’t far off.

As a result, instead of the plastic casing that was used on the prototype, they have decided to go with an all metal housing for enhanced durability and build quality.
