SoundToys today announced that Version 3.1 adding full VST support for both Mac and PC for the SoundToys Native Effects bundle is now available for download, with physical product shipping soon after.
Full VST support for OS X and Windows XP/Vista operating system and full compatibility for applications like Steinberg’s Cubase and Nuendo, and CakeWalk’s Sonar 8, as well as Ableton Live for Windows. VST support will be included for individual plug-ins that are native capable including EchoBoy, FilterFreak, PhaseMistress, Tremolator, and Crystallizer in both the SoundToys Native Effects and SoundToys TDM Effects bundles.
“We’ve been working hard to bring our plug-ins to the VST platform.” Says Mitch Thomas, SoundToys sales director, “Now we have all the major platforms covered and hopefully made a lot of VST users very happy.”
Upgrades for current V3 customers are available at no charge. More information will be posted on the SoundToys web site as it becomes available.
