Voxengo Tube Amp and MSED free audio plugins update

Updated Voxengo Tube Amp v2.0 and Voxengo MSED 2.1 free audio plug-ins have been released. These plug-ins can be loaded into any audio host application that conforms to the VST or AudioUnit plug-in specification. Plug-ins are compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista (32- and 64-bit) and Mac OS X 10.4.11 and above (Intel and PowerPC) computers (2 GHz dual-core or faster processor with at least 1 GB of system RAM recommended).

Voxengo Tube Amp
Tube Amp received a major update and now supports most user interface features latest Voxengo plug-ins offer: multi-channel support, routing matrix, mid/side processing, channel grouping, and others. Beside that, the tube overdrive algorithm itself has been improved. Tube Amp now features a built-in output soft-knee limiter which can be used as a loudness maximizer.

Tube Amp is an audio effect plug-in that applies asymmetric tube triode overdrive usually found in single-tube microphone pre-amp boxes. The sound this plug-in produces varies from a mild “warm” overdrive to a fuzzy distortion. Beside that, Tube Amp includes a -6 dB/oct low-pass filter that is built-in into plug-in’s valve modeling equation, and can be used to imitate a lower-quality tube triode.

Voxengo MSED
MSED now features “Mid Mute” and “Side Mute” switches which allow you to disable mid and side channels completely.

MSED is a professional audio encoder/decoder plug-in for mid/side processing which is able to encode (split) the incoming stereo signal into two components: mid/side pair, and vice versa: decode mid/side signal pair into stereo signal.

These updated plug-ins can be downloaded at the Voxengo web site: http://www.voxengo.com
