PreSonus releases 64-bit AudioBox USB Driver for Windows

PreSonus has released a new software driver for its AudioBox USB 2×2 audio interface. The new driver adds 64-bit functionality for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 and can be downloaded (free) from the Technical Support/Downloads section of the PreSonus Web site.

The AudioBox is class-compliant with Mac OS X and therefore does not need a Mac driver. The PreSonus AudioBox USB is a portable, USB bus-powered, audio-recording interface featuring 2 combo microphone/instrument inputs with 48V phantom power, 2 balanced TRS outputs, and MIDI In and Out. It is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.7 and later, including Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), and with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. The AudioBox comes with PreSonus’ Studio One Artist digital audio workstation software bundle, giving you everything needed to get started recording and producing your music.
