McDSP showed Audio Unit (AU) versions of some of its product line at the 2010 Winter NAMM Show. McDSP plans to ship updated versions of its entire product line by May of 2010 with TDM, RTAS and AU support. These updated versions will also include new features and improved performance on Leopard and Snow Leopard.

For greater savings, purchase any plug-in or bundle from now until May 2010 for up to 30% off! Once AU support is shipping, all products and bundles will be sold at regular pricing. Existing customers can upgrade each McDSP plug-in (HD or Native) to include AU support for an introductory price of $29 per plug-in. Upgrade pricing will increase to $49 per plug-in shortly thereafter. Existing Emerald Pack 4 HD or Native owners may upgrade the complete bundle for a limited time for only $249. McDSP will continue to offer two main product lines – HD and Native. The HD versions of McDSP plug-ins will support TDM, RTAS, and AU formats.  The Native versions of McDSP plug-ins will support RTAS and AU formats.

McDSP All-New 6030 Ultimate Compressor
McDSP has turned up the notch of dynamic range processing once again. Building on the entire award winning McDSP compression algorithm code base, the 6030 Ultimate Compressor adds new sonic capabilities, stunning new user interfaces and a collection of new designs mixed with unique twists on vintage emulations. The 6030 Ultimate Compressor will be available in May of 2010 (pricing TBD). The 6030 Ultimate Compressor will also be added to the Emerald Pack bundle, available to Emerald Pack 4 customers as an upgrade (pricing TBD).

McDSP Provides Sneak-Peak at the Next Generation of Classic Pack Plug-ins
McDSP’s Classic Pack plug-ins including Analog Channel, CompressorBank, FilterBank and MC2000 are being significantly updated with improved user interfaces and new features. Attendees of the 2010 Winter NAMM Show had the opportunity to see first hand the next generation of McDSP’s Classic Pack plug-ins.
