ProjectSAM release Colours: Adaptive Runs

ProjectSAM, the Netherlands-based developer behind the world class Symphobia series of orchestral cinematic virtual instruments, has released the third instalment in their Colours series.

Recorded in the same lush concert hall as their Symphobia and Orchestral Essentials series’, Adaptive Runs offers strings, woodwinds and brass giving you access to massive 4-octave runs covering the full string section, as well as common orchestrations such as violins and flutes playing together.

Dubbed as “the smartest and most intuitive orchestral runs library yet” Adaptive Runs taps into this vast audio pool, with runs ranging from a 4th interval to 4 octaves.

ProjectSAM’s Adaptive Sync engine effortlessly syncs the orchestral runs to the next downbeat or any custom number of beats or seconds. The engine automatically picks the best matching recording, then tweaks it further so that it hits the mark exactly. Turning off synchronization automatically reloads the samples in disk streaming mode, a useful feature in low-RAM situations.

The Range toggle allows you to quickly switch to a run with either a narrower or wider orchestrated range, all while maintaining the other sync settings.

Colours: Adaptive Runs will become your new go-to runs library from the moment you start using it!

To coincide with the release of Adaptive Runs, ProjectSAM has also released a new free update for the other libraries in the series – Animator and Orchestrator. The update offers a fresh new look with greatly improved control over the features you need most!

Adaptive Runs is available to buy now priced £159 / $169 / €178.80.
