BIAS today announced that SoundSoap 2.4 – an important update of the world’s best selling audio noise reduction software plug-in and application for Mac and Windows – is now available. The update offers new localized tool tips, compatibility with the latest Pro Tools 8 software from Avid, and additional enhancements.
Bias announced today that the current shipping versions of SoundSoap 2 and SoundSoap Pro audio restoration products are compatible with Mac OS X version 10.4 Tiger – Apple’s latest update of it’s ultra-modern operating system.
Bias will release free downloadable updates in May with full Tiger compatibility for Peak, the award-winning stereo editing, processing and mastering application – and Deck, the popular multitrack surround-capable digital audio workstation software.
BIAS established itself early on as a leading developer of Mac OS X-native audio software with the release of Peak DV 3.0 (the digital video edition of the award-winning digital audio editing application) in November 2001, the first commercially available pro audio application available for Mac OS X. Bias continues the cutting edge Mac OS development with SoundSoap 2 and SoundSoap Pro that are running on Mac OS 10.4 the first day that it is available, as well as the forthcoming free Tiger-compatible updates for Peak and Deck.
