Denon DJ has made free firmware updates available for its DN-S3700 and DN-S1200 digital media turntables that upgrade performance with a Hybrid MIDI mode. The updates – DN-S3700 v.2020, DN-S1200 v.3020 – are available to download from the Denon DJ website at www.denon.dj; from the relevant product pages.

Denon’s new Hybrid MIDI mode adds impressive DVS (Digital Vinyl System) versatility to the DN-S3700 Digital Media Turntable and the DN-S1200 Compact Media Player & Controller with today’s leading DJ applications. World’s First Hybrid MIDI mode generates the required CD/Vinyl control signal (timecode) from within the deck’s DSP allowing for super accurate tracking and spinning platter performance (S3700) without using the CD timecode. Other buttons and knobs can control essential features such as, File Browsing, Hot Cues, Looping… etc. over USB MIDI.

New firmware for the Denon DN-S3700 released
New S3700 firmware has been released (v.1300) from JP that improves minor bugs reported. Most important of these is the cue slippage problem caused b vibration to the unit. This version will be installed in this month’s factory production.
