KeyToSound releases Nexsyn 1.1 update

KeyToSound have posted an update to Nexsyn online. Nexsyn is a hybrid instrument that combines sample playback and synthesis technology. Nexsyn is designed for the musician, sound designer, and producer who wishes for a powerful synthesizer with high quality output, advanced modulation, and precise sample based key map playback.

The update addresses the following issues:
– Scroll bar does not goes away any more when the preset list goes beyond the window view.
– The envelope graphic is updated correctly when a preset is loaded.
– The users can acquires their own presets from NetNotes.
– A load bar is presented to the user when a large XWM file is loaded for a selected preset.
– Communication between Apple’s Logic and Digidesign’s ProTools HW is not interrupted anymore when a large XWM file is loaded into Nexsyn.
– VST 2.4 is now supported by Nexsyn.
– The preset note editor now except the following characters: !”#%&/()=?+}][{123456789 on both OSX and Windows (*except when running AU in Live, so use the VST version instead).
– The cursor in the preset note editor behaves much better.
– Graphical update problems in Live has been fixed.
– Graphic system has been optimized throughout Nexsyn.
– The user can type in Username and password to log onto NetNotes in Ableton’s Live.
– Communication with FireWire audio interfaces is established with PreSonus.
– Pitch bend range has been extended to +/- 4 octaves (48 semitones)
