Audio Damage Automaton screencast 2

Automaton is a unique look at buffer effects, allowing you to experiment with artificial life within your DAW. With four separate effects (Stutter, Modulate, Bitcrush, and Replicate) driven by a cellular automata sequencer, Automaton is capable of adding subtle seemingly random fills and “humanizing” effects.

Audio Damage have released part 2 of the screencast of Automaton, giving us more insight of what Automaton can do (for you).

In their own words:
“Here’s part two of my three-part screencast about Automaton. In it, I have a quick Adderall-fueled portion for the attention-impaired segment of the viewing audience, and then I do an explanation of each of the four effects in Automaton. Part three will be forthcoming, and will consist entirely of workflow demonstrations.”
