Another bit of news that got snowed under in this years NAMM news rush is this little thingy. Allthough Akai announced the MPK25 officially at this years NAMM, we came across this picture on the Failed Muso blog. It seems that there will be another addition to the MPK series with the MPK88!
According to Failed Muso it’s a fully weighted 88 note keybed, with all the features of the MPK49 plus the full quota of 16 MPC pads, as opposed to the 12 on the 49 and 25.
It speaks for itself that we don’t have any details on pricing or availability.
