In this video I show you our favourite sounds from the new firmware update of the Arturia Microfreak.
The Microfreak by Arturia has a new firmware update, the third already. For this new update, Arturia has partnered with Noise Engineering. The basis of this new update are the three new oscillator models, designed by Noise Engineering: Bass, SawX and Harm. These can also be found in their Virt Iter module. These oscillators give more harmonic colour to the sound, phase modulation and wavefolding. Digital never sounded so dirty.
Arturia has also built in extra features. The 4-note unison mode is now available for all oscillators with a unison of up to 12 semitones. More preset and preset slots are now available, and much more.
