Native Instruments announces Kore player

Native Instruments today announced Kore player, a free software instrument that adds full ready-to-play capabilities to the recently established line of KORE SOUNDPACK libraries. Based on the innovative KORE 2 host system, the Kore player enables musicians and producers to efficiently access and play any KORE SOUNDPACK material in their host sequencer and as a standalone instrument – opening up a new and highly affordable way to use a wide range of inspiring high-quality sound material from Native Instruments in the studio and on stage.

New Spectrasonics Flagship is called OMNISPHERE

After many years of development, Spectrasonics previewed their brand new flagship virtual instrument Omnisphere at the Winter NAMM show. The revolutionary ‘Power Synth’ breaks completely new sonic ground by combining a wide variety of hybrid realtime synthesis techniques, an epic library of remarkable ‘Psychoacoustic’ sounds, and many innovative features that have never been seen before in any hardware or software synthesizer.

AAS Strum Acoustic just around the corner

Strum is the just-right solution.” With these words Applied Acoustics introduces us to their new Strum Acoustic GS-1 Guitar Plug-in Synthesizer.
