Lexicon PCM96/PCM96 Surround v3.2.0.1 (Mac) update

A new version of the of the PCM96 and PCM96 Surround software v3.2.0.1 (Macintosh Only) is now released and available for download on the www.Lexiconpro.com website. The Lexicon PCM96 team has continued to enhance the Hardware Plug-In function to increase the software stability and performance. Software version 3.2.0.1 represents a major overhaul of the streaming and control functionality to make it less processor intensive.

CamelAudio Alchemy v1.11 and BigTone Soundbank released

Camel Audio has updated their sample manipulation synthesizer Alchemy to v1.11 and released a new soundbank created by highly respected sound designer BigTone. Camel Audio is also running a competition to create a tutorial video with the opportunity to win $500. The three week fully functional demo has also been updated with all the latest improvements. Even if you tried the demo before, you can use the new version for a further three weeks.

Arturia updates the Moog Modular V

Novation Launchpad – a closer look

Launchpad is a dedicated controller for Ableton Live, co-developed by Novation and Ableton. Perfect for DJing, performing live or working in the studio, Launchpad features a multi-color, 64-button grid, control modes for the Session View and Live’s mixer, two fully-programmable User Modes and dedicated scene-launch/function buttons. Despite the big grid, Launchpad is neat, compact and portable: 239 x 239 mm with a slim 24 mm profile and weighing only 717 g.
