Novation about to change the game!

After the Big Tease from Propellerheads this week, Novation steps up to the plate and is starting their own Big Tease. And about the looks of it, it will be quite interesting. Will Novation step into the DJ market with a DJ controller? The teaser image below is from the Novation website. The mixer used in the picture is from Rane so that gives a hint directed to the DJ market. And that’s about all we can tell you. LinnStrument – Roger Linns research project

When Roger isn’t working on his cool musical instruments, he is working on a new musical instrument concept. He is interested in the idea of new musical instruments that overcome the limitations of traditional mechanical instruments. His particular interest is in a new instrument that while capable of entirely new sounds and playing techniques, is also able to reproduce the sounds, virtuosic performance capabilities and subtleties that we’ve come to know and love from traditional musical instruments, but without all their problems and limitations.

Benelux Ableton VIP event in Rotterdam

Media Satellite, Ableton and Rotterdam Pop Academy (a division of Codarts) present an Ableton VIP event in Rotterdam. iPad release 28th may – Europe is NEXT

Almost two months after it’s official US release, Europe is finally next. iPad™ will be available in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the UK on Friday, May 28. Customers can pre-order all iPad models from Apple’s online store in all nine countries beginning on Monday, May 10. In the US, Apple has already sold over one million iPads and customers have downloaded over 12 million apps from the App Store, as well as over 1.5 million ebooks from the new iBookstore.
