PreSonus Releases Studio One 1.5.1

PreSonus announced that it is now shipping Studio One™ 1.5.1, the latest update to the company’s flagship music recording and production software. This is a free update for all registered users of Studio One Artist and Studio One Pro. To update their software, users should log into their PreSonus accounts and download the new version.

PreSonus Studio One 1.1 Adds A Wealth of Features

PreSonus announced version 1.1 of its Studio One DAW software, which adds multiple features and enhancements. You can now draw automation waveforms, and automation points can be locked to selected events, so automation moves with the related events. A transform function lets you scale, stretch, and otherwise modify automation envelopes. An Undo history enables viewing and undoing all edits done since the file was opened, even if you have saved since then. A pitch-name editor is available in the drum layout, and you can save and load names from a pitch-name list.

SoundCloud hooks up with PreSonus and Audiofile Engineering

SoundCloud, the online music service, today launches the first in a series of product integrations with professional music software makers which will enable producers to upload their tracks to the web direct from their favourite audio applications. The first partnerships, announced today at NAMM, are with Studio One from PreSonus and Audiofile Engineering‘s Wave Editor, with Ableton Live to follow.

Presonus Studio ONE demo available

Studio One is a groundbreaking music-creation and production application for Mac OS X and Windows XP/Vista that makes audio recording, MIDI sequencing, and audio mastering ridiculously simple right out of the box, yet provides a wealth of professional features. Allthough still not available Presonus has released a DEMO version of this highly anticipated software.
