AKAI Pro SynthStation Sneak Peek – Video

Here is a special advance look at SynthStation, Akai Pro’s new synthesizer for iPhone and iPod Touch. Although it is an iPhone app, SynthStation works on the iPad too, which is shown in this video. SynthStation transforms iPhone or iPod touch into a portable music production studio for mobile music creation. SynthStation Studio gives you three powerful synthesizers for creating and modifying sonic textures used for melodies, chords, and bass lines. Built around Akai Professional’s history in synthesis and drawing on the newest MINIAK synth, SynthStation sounds great and offers wide-ranging sonic flexibility with its virtual analog synthesis.

GForce impOSCar2 Hardware Controller?

This ‘much-anticipated’ next version of the Imposcar softsynth is in its final development stage. According to their own website, GForce are putting their heads down once more and get on with the job of completing this instrument. So we have to wait just a few until GForce is unveiling the final version. That said, … we came across a very interesting ‘sometin’ ‘sometin’ on the internet. A GForce Imposcar2 hardware controller! Looking at the pictures, … that is a sweet controller, right? To be completely clear, the persons in the picture below are members of Underworld together with Dave Spiers from GForce. The guy playing with the controller is Darren Price of Underworld, contributor of many sounds to the (version 1) impOSCar soft synth. So there is an onvious connection between Underworld and GForce.

Korg SV-1 Editor Advantages – Video Tutorial

The SV-1 contains the hippest, most in-demand and soul-satisfying keyboard sounds ever collected in a single instrument. Decades of electro-mechanical, transistorized, tape-driven, analog, and digital legends are joined by a collection of rich acoustic pianos, all reproduced with stunning realism. But the SV-1 is about much more than excellent sound; the SV-1 re-creates the look, the feel, and visceral pleasure of performing on a vintage instrument.  Korg’s SV-1 has plenty of control on the keyboard itself, but the editor software gives you a much deeper level of control. This tutorial will guide you through the additional functions of the SV-1 editor.
