Applied Acoustics Systems, the developers of the high acclaimed Tassman 4 modular soft synth have announced the Ultra Analog VA-1, Virtual Analog Synthesizer.
In a world filled with reproductions and ever increasing complexity, Ultra Analog imposes itself as a unique and powerful synth that is fast, easy and remarkably versatile. Ultra Analog offers 32 voices of polyphony and its highly adaptable signal path is driven by two super rich, alias free oscillators featuring standard waveforms, sub oscillators, hard sync, and integrated pitch envelopes. Two audacious multimode filters with distortion are then applied to shape its sonic character.
The Ultra Analog will be available for PC and MAC (OS 10.2 and higher). Pricing & Availability for the VA-1 is $249 US and will be available by the end of October 2004.
