Steinberg releases Sequel 2 Trial Version

Steinberg today launched a free Trial Version of Sequel 2, the latest release of its successful entry-level music creation software. The Sequel 2 Trial Version showcases all the new features introduced with Sequel 2 such as the Controller Learn Mode, Track Freeze, Track Icons, the enhanced Sequel MediaBay, the Virtual Keyboard and much more. Sequel 2 is available now for ?99.00* from authorized Steinberg dealers and online. The update to Sequel 2 for existing Sequel owners costs ?29.00 and is exclusively available through Steinberg?s Online Store.

“With all the new features, no functional restrictions, over 600 instruments and over 100 demo loops included, our new Trial Version is an ideal way to try out Sequel 2,” comments Nadine Roos, Steinberg’s Product Marketing Manager for Sequel. “Sequel 2 adds more features and creativity while still being amazingly fun and intuitive. The new features in Sequel 2 include a unique Controller Learn Mode, which allows extremely easy setup for almost any hardware controller to offer tactile control over practically any Sequel 2 function, instrument or parameter. Track Freeze enhances CPU efficiency, while the new Track Icons visually label tracks, making them easy to find and adding an attractive new element to the Sequel user interface. The Sequel MediaBay sound management system has also been improved, while the new Audio Reverse effect and the Audio
Warp features offer even more creative options. A new Virtual Keyboard allows the computer keyboard or mouse to be used to record music using any of the 600 included instruments.

The fully functional Trial Version evaluation time period is 15 days, which can be extended to a total of 45 days.
