It seems that KORG is (yet again) the first manufacturer to release an iPad dedicated instrument, the iElectribe. With this app Korg emulated the ELECTRIBE hardware interface into software, with preset management via a standard iPad-style menu.
* Oscillator section, with pitch, mod adjustments, selectable oscillator shape (sine/tri/square/saw), mod shape
* Selectable preset patterns
* Motion sequencing
* Effects section with grain shift, beat-synced and “short” delays, chorus/flanger, filter, “talking” mod, reverb, decimator.
* Sequence section with step sequencer for controlling parts, effects, just as on the real thing.
That this iElectribe isn’t a delayed ‘April Fools Hoax’ is supported by the fact that the is already available at the Apple iTunes App store. According to Korg, with the iElectribe you can take full advantage of the iPad’s 9.7-inch multi-touch display. This app gives you brand new music production / performance and style!
